Local islands in the Maldives are the perfect place to experience the culture and life of the paradise's residents. However, since we are guests there, we should respect local customs. The Maldives is a Muslim country, and while on the island, aside from bikini beaches, we should remember to dress appropriately (a strappy dress or shorts and a shirt are perfectly fine!). There is designated large beach for tourists on the island "bikini beach" where you can freely relax, sunbathe, and swim in swimming suits. On local islands, the sale and consumption of alcohol is prohibited.

Are there restaurants and shops on the island?
On the island, there are several restaurants apart from those in the guesthouses, where you can enjoy both local dishes and continental classics. The average cost of lunch for 2 people is $20 (e.g., fried rice with tuna or Maldivian curry with potatoes and egg, accompanied by freshly squeezed juices or a non-alcoholic drink).
Transfer and flight times?
Transport to and from the airport included in the price. Speedboats operate from the airport to the island at 11:00 and 16:30, and from Fulidhoo to the airport at 6:15 and 14:00. Therefore, we recommend looking for flights arriving in the Maldives no later than 15:00, and departing at least by 9:30; otherwise, you may need to purchase a private transfer or book an additional night in the capital.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
After making a decision to book a trip for a specific date (individual or group), we send a pre-booking confirmation, and block the room for 4 days - this is the time you have to make a 30% deposit payment. An international transfer to a Maldivian account is required. Once the deposit is credited to the travel agency's account, you will receive a booking confirmation. The remaining amount must be paid after checking in on the island.
HOW TO BUY FLIGHT TICKETS?
Airline tickets and travel insurance should be purchased independently. We recommend checking ticket prices on websites that search for the best deals from various airlines, such as skyscanner.com, so you can compare ticket prices from different carriers. Destination airport is in Male (MLE) VELANA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. The best connections are usually offered by Fly Dubai, Qatar Airways, and Etihad Airlines. Or avoiding the Middle East: Austrian Airlines, Condor, and Swiss.

What documents do I need when traveling to the Maldives?
When traveling to the Maldives, a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure is required. A visa is obtained at the airport upon arrival. To receive a visa, you must have a hotel reservation confirmation and complete the online travel document IMUGA - to be filled out a maximum of 96 hours before departure (we also assist with filling it out and send it via email).
